Suddenly I felt it.
The shake, the shudder, the shimmer of understanding.
How could it have escaped me so long?
Disguised at once in pretty clothes and a dirty face.
I misunderstood it the whole time -
Reluctant to take my part in the action,
Playing in the game of life.
Heaven sent knowledge
Is the hardest to decode.
Particles and bits from nowhere
And everywhere.
Somehow assembled into a beautiful symphony,
Heard only by the soul and slowly emerging
Into daylight.
